Welcome to Victoriana

Victoriana is no longer defined as an object covered with Victorian scraps, meaning cut out pictures of roses and chubby children.

Here in NSW (Australia) we are using a new definition of Victoriana which is "entirely covered by paper with no background painting showing".

This year at the Royal Easter Show in Sydney there were some fine examples of items covered in paper.

I am not going to offer a process for doing this. If you can do traditional decoupage you can certainly cover a box or other item with paper.

Here are some examples. Some of the artists have provided descriptions.
