I find ancient Egyptian art interesting and I've used its images on my découpage things. Here are some of them.

This is an old ice bucket I found at St Vinnies. It had wood veneer on the outside. We are still using it.

This is one of my favourite boxes. I lined the inside bottom with black velvet.I am still using it to keep jewellery in.

This brooch is one of a dozen or so I entered in a Wearable Art Competition in Newcastle in 1998.

This emu egg is still on my shelf. I didn't want to part with it. The images come from Racinet's book.

I painted this little box with a mixture of cadmium yellow and iridescent white. The images were photocopied in black and white and then I coloured them with coloured pencils. It has a turquoise velour lining.
